Hi, I’m Trish! I was adopted by a loving couple in September 2005; I think it was all the kisses I gave them when we first met.  When I came into Doc. Williams, I was only 16 lbs and needed to beef up.  Thanks to my new parents and yummy food I now weigh a healthy 35 lbs.  I love to run after my tennis ball over and over again.  Some days I even get to play with my Chuck-it 5 times a day!!  I also love catching a Frisbee, going to Petsmart to see the rats, chasing a laser pointer, and playing at the Dog Park.  Oh, and my new favorite toy is the sprinkler.  I can spend hours chasing the water around and around.  My mom and dad say I’m a very smart dog.  They taught me how to sit, lay, count to 10, roll, and give High-5s.  But the best part of being with my new parents is curling up beside them on the couch watching TV or sleeping on the bed between them at night, even though they say I’m a bed hog.   I so love it here!

My husband and I adopted 'Pugsley', now Rider, on October 6, 2006. We love him. He has been the best puppy ever. Rider has tons of friends, and loves to play with everyone. He is the happiest puppy ever. Thank you so much for the opportunity to adopt such a great puppy!!!!!!!

Thank you,
Jon and Amanda Tate

The Beabout pack has grown rapidly over the past three years.  With the addition of Macy (left - black cocker spaniel) in November 2004 we became instantly attached.  As soon as we relocated to a bigger home, we adopted Toby (right - black lab mix) in September 2005.  While Macy enjoys her pampered life style, Toby is more interested in affection and playtime.  In September 2006, they welcomed home their new brother Bailey (middle - parti cocker spaniel).   Bailey surprised us all with his abundance of energy and kisses.  From the photo you can see, one of our favorite family activities is tent camping, especially when we all share a sleeping bag.  Thanks to the Doc Williams SPCA our home is now complete.

Thanks again!  We love them all!!!

I came in at the end of November looking for a small dog and ended up taking Eddie home. He is the sweetest cat! He loves to play with his mouse ball and to rub up against the dog Daisy. He also absolutely LOVES being brushed! He's still quite large but we hope that over time he'll become a bit more active and in shape. Thank you so much for helping me find him. He's a great addition to our family!

We adoptioned a Boxer/Pitbull boy in October. I told the SPCA employess that I would send in some pictures on how he is doing.  We did end up changing his name from Rocko to Sarg. He commands everyone attention and straving for the attention for everyone and every dog that comes around. He is still as sweet as when we got him. Thank you for helping us with the adoption and the addition to you family.

We got Maude on January 6, 2007. She's a hyper girl, but we love her nd she has brought our spirits up since the passing of our dog.  She loves playing and having her tummy scratched. She's wonderful and were gald we got her!!!

Katrynia Robb

I was adopted December 2005, as a Christmas present for my mom. I am named Gus after the fat mouse in the movie Cinderella.  I love my home with my adopted older brother, Buster, and sister, Zoe, who were adopted in the summer of 2002.  But I rule them even if they have 50 pounds over me.  Most of my day is spent lounging on the windowsill waiting for everyone to get home.  Then it is cuddle time as I plant myself in someones lap.  I tend to Meow quite a bit, but I want to be heard when I am hungry.  I never get to go outside but I have plenty to play with inside.  I do not get into too much trouble but every once in a while the saying is true, curiosity will drive me to it.

We adopted Shatner, then called "Zack", in October when he was about 10 months old. He's been a fantastic companion--playful and loving. He's a friendly guy who likes to meet other people and dogs, but what he really loves is playing with all his friends at the dog park.

Thanks for everything!

We made Rosco a part of our family about a month ago, boy is he having fun making new friends! Rosco loves going to his training class every Tuesday and playing with the dogs there as well as all the dogs in our neighborhood, but he really loves watching his sisters, Twidget and Fidget (hamsters), roll around the house in their balls, and the fish swim in their tank.  He can sometimes play rough, but he showers us with kisses and hugs all day, everyday. We're so happy to have Rosco in our home, and we're thinking about adopting another dog as soon as we move to a bigger home! We couldn't be happier!

This is a picture of me and Charlotte (original DWSPCA name) the day I brought her home. She fit right in and made herself at home. She is very curious and playful but her favorite thing to do is cuddle with us on the couch and be petted and loved on while watching tv. You can tell she is happy to have
finally found a home, and I am more than happy that her new home is with us.

Thank you so much DWSPCA!

Reagan, formally Radar, was adopted in May 2006 and since then has been the best addition.  She spends much of her day relaxing in the back yard with her new brother and swimming at the beach – which is her favorite thing to do.  She has traveled to Vermont to meet her grandparents and really enjoyed the hiking and taking adventures with her cousins.  Now that she has a brother she just cant get enough of him.  As you can see Christmas morning was very tiring for the two of them.  We are so happy that we found her and thank you guys so much.

We adopted our dog Buster from your shelter and I don't know what we would do without him. He loves going to the beach with us and he's all around the most spoiled dog on the Naval base. We love our new addition to our family.

Bri Wycherley

My boyfriend and I adopted Rufus from you guys in early July.  We shortly changed his name to Riley, which was his brother's name, and he is doing well.  Other than having to be on some medicines for a little while for having a cold he is doing well and is a very happy puppy! We want to thank you Doc Williams SPCA for helping us with the adoption of Riley, he keeps us company and happy!

I adopted Chance in April 2005.  He was 9 weeks old.  When I saw him it was love at first sight.  He was 1 of 8 Husky mix puppies that were brought into the shelter.  There were 4 left.  He came to me right away and started pulling on my shoe string.  I leaned down and he kissed me on my nose.  I was sold!!  He is the best thing to happen to me.  He brings so much happiness to my life. I'm so thrilled that he chose me!!  He's a stinker and has his grandmother wrapped around his tail!! He loves swimming and going to the dog park.  I'm so glad that I was able to change his life by giving him a warm and loving home.
Thanks for making it so easy!
