Another Project
Education opportunity at Westview Primary School on November 24, 2003 where
Pearl Sutton taught 9 classes of second graders how to properly treat and
handle animals to prevent being bitten and how to understand animal language.

On February 26,
2004, Executive Director Pearl Sutton conducted an educational class at
Boulder Bluff Elementary School. Below, the students participated
in a demontration of body language methods to use if they encounter stray
dogs. Below, on the left, the children are standing still with their
hands at their side (act like a tree) and on the right, the students are
in a tuck position with their fists over their ears (act like a rock).

On April 24,
2008, the DWSPCA Adoption Center and Executive Director Pearl Sutton
hosted an educational
class for the Goose Creek Head Start where the children
learned about safety
with regards to animal, dogs in particular.
The Head Start classes
also made donation to the Adoption Center.
